BEFORE OSU: Miller transferred to OSU from Charleston Southern University, where she was a student-athlete on the softball team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Miller was the most valuable player on her high school softball team ... was also named to the all-conference team.

PERSONAL: Born September 30, 1983 ... enjoys going to the beach and working out ... her favorite singer is Faith Hill ... her favorite movie is Pearl Harbor ... is a health promotions major ... Tessa has three sisters, Erica (29), Staci (27) and Andie (25) ... is the daughter of Ron and Meg Miller.
