2005: Ross redshirt season at Oklahoma State. High School: Zac was the district 6A-4 football player of the year his senior season and was named the area Player of the Year by the Muskogee Phoenix. He was also a Ford Award nominee for the top player in the Tulsa area. Zac lettered in football, basketball and baseball his freshman and sophomore years at Fort Gibson High School. He then transferred to Muskogee and led the Roughers to the first round of the Class 6A playoffs both his junior and senior seasons. Zac had 1,500 passing yards, 800 rushing yards and 24 touchdownsas a senior. He was recruited by Texas Tech, but chose to play for the Cowboys. Personal: Born Sept. 9, 1986, Zac is the son of David and Alice Ross. His father is an assistant coach at Illinois State. Zac has two brothers, Hayden and Darce, and a sister, Brogan. He is majoring in business/sports management at Oklahoma State.
