2005: Friess was a valuable member of the squad because of his play on the practice field. 2004: He did not see any game action his redshirt freshman season at Oklahoma State. 2003: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State. High School: Generally regarded as one of the top quarterback prospects in the midwest, Friess missed part of his high school senior season but still put up impressive numbers, including 62 completions in 116 attempts and seven touchdowns. He threw just two interceptions. He was a second team all-district selection as a senior. As a junior, he passed for 1,528 yards and was his high school teams leading scorer. Personal: Born Nov. 20, 1984, Mike is the son of David and Jeannie Friess. He has two older brothers, Jesse and Patrick. Mike is majoring in sociology at Oklahoma State. He lists hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities as his main hobbies.
