OSU Soccer Signee Named Top International Recruit

Oklahoma State soccer signee Annika Niemeier was named the top international recruit by Soccer Buzz Magazine.

Niemeier is part of a class that also includes top 100 national recruit Kasey Langdon. It is the second straight year coaches Karen Hancock and Colin Carmichael landed one of the top international recruits. Current Cowgirl Angelika Feldbacher, a German native, was rated the No. 2 international recruit last year.

Niemeier hails from Willingen-Usseln, Germany. She has been a member of the U-17, U-19 and U-20 German National teams. The U-19 German National Team won a world championship in 2004. Niemeier will be on campus in the fall.
