Cowboy Golf Wins Fifth Consecutive Title At The Maxwell

Oklahoma State's men's golf team fired a 261 team total during its final round on Sunday to pick up its third victory of the season at The Maxwell being contested at Dornick Hills Country Club.

The Cowboys, who finished with a 55-under-par 785 total, finished four strokes ahead of runner-up Baylor on their way to a fifth-straight win at the event and their eighth in its 15-year history.

Redshirt freshman Jonathan Moore became the sixth OSU player to win The Maxwell, carding a final round 66 for a 14-under-par total of 196. The win was the first of his career and came in record-setting fashion. The

Junior Tyler Leon entered the day tied for third at 3-under before carding a final round of 77 to finish tied for 22nd place with a 3-over 213 score.

OSU had two individuals in the field as well as junior Ryan Posey entered play on Sunday tied for 10th and recorded a 73 to finish tied for 14th place. Senior Chris Clarke posted a three-round tally of 213 after a 72 to tie for 22nd.
