McCabe and Josserand Highight Day Two of Conference Meet

McCabe, a senior from Duncan, Okla., advanced to the finals in the 1,500-meter run by finishing second in his heat with a time of 3:51.50 in the preliminaries. Junior Ryan Ripley and redshirt freshman Ryan Vail missed qualifying for the finals by less than one second. Ripley finished fourth in his heat with a time of 3:52.39 while Vail finished fifth with a time of 3:52.51.
In the 400-meter hurdles preliminaries, Josserand solidified a spot in Saturday's finals with a time of 51.68 – a new personal record for the junior from Owasso, Okla.
In the 800-meter run, sophomore Brian Wall finished with a time of 1:57.97.
The Cowboys will continue conference action tomorrow as McCabe and Josserand will compete in the finals of their events. Also, junior Joseph Gray will compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and sophomore David Jankowski will run in the 5,000-meter run.
