Josserand Becomes Fourth Cowboy to Qualify for Regionals

Josserand, an Owasso, Okla., native, was the only Cowboy runner to compete at the event and earned second-place honors in his heat of the the 400-meter hurdle preliminaries. His time of 52.32 also makes him an NCAA Regional qualifier giving the Pokes four Regional Qualifiers this season.
"I've been practicing so hard and have had the chance to get some individual help on the hurdles from Jim Bolding," said Josserand. "All the other guys have been working so hard and you can just tell that this is a completely different kind of season than what we have had in the past."
Senior Sean McCabe, junior Joe Gray and sophomore Ryan Vail have already qualified for NCAA Regionals this season. Also for the Pokes, sophomore David Jankowski became an NCAA National qualifier with his performance at the Stanford Invitational last weekend.
The Cowboys have this weekend off and will continue action next Saturday at the J.D. Martin Invitational. The event will be hosted by OU in Norman, Okla.
