The Cowboys are 24-13 after winning three of their four games last week. OSU topped 28th-ranked Wichita State in Stillwater on Tuesday and then traveled to Columbia, Mo., where the Cowboys won 2-of-3 games against Missouri. At 7-8, OSU is in sixth place in the Big 12 Conference standings, with its next conference series this weekend at Kansas State. Prior to that, the Cowboys will host Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a pair of mid-week doubleheaders on Tuesday and Wednesday. OSU is 19-2 at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium this season, and the Cowboys are 8-0 all-time against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff
The Golden Lions are 15-20 after being swept in a three-game series at Southern on April 15-16. UAPB is just 6-13 on the road in 2006. The Golden Lions are 9-12 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play this season.

OSU vs. UAPB in 2005
OSU was 5-0 against the Golden Lions last season. All five games were played in Stillwater, and the Cowboys outscored UAPB, 104-8. Four of the games were seven-inning run rules. OSU won by scores of 27-0, 21-0, 7-2, 21-2 and 28-4.
About Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Arkansas-Pine Bluff has shown marked improvement from a year ago as the Golden Lions have already won nearly twice as many games in 2006 as they did all of last season. In 2005, UAPB finished 9-40 overall and 5-18 in SWAC play. This season, the Golden Lions are 15-20 with a 9-12 mark in conference play.
