2005: Amrein saw limited action as a freshman ... during the indoor season, Amrein threw for 37'1.25” in the shot put at the J.D. Martin Invitational ... in the outdoor shot put, she finished sixth at the Mean Green Twilight Invitational.

High School: Amrein was selected All-State, where she placed third in the shot put... she was a two-time Conference Champion... also played volleyball.

Personal: Born August 9, 1986... she is undecided on her major...favorite television show is “Real World”... her father (Allan) was a thrower on the Fort Hays State University track and field team... she has one sister, Erin (15)... is the daughter of Allan and Susan Amrein.
