About Arkansas-Little Rock
The Trojans' roster includes a veteran group of nine seniors and 13 juniors looking to give UALR its first winning season since 2003. And at 10-6, which includes two wins over Creighton and a victory against Memphis, the Trojans are well on their way to that goal under first-year head coach Jim Lawler. UALR, which is a member of the Sun Belt Conference, sports a .305 team batting average and averages 10.4 runs per game, which is over two runs per game more than their opponents. Lawler's son, Brett, is a two-time draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers and considered one of the Sun Belt's top newcomers.
As A Matter Of Fact: UALR head coach Jim Lawler spent 21 years (1985-2005) as the top assistant coach at Texas A&M. The Aggies compiled an 876-433-3 record during that span, which included 13 NCAA Tournament and two College World Series appearances.
Players To Watch
Jacob Stover, OF - Stover leads the Trojans with a .456 batting average. He has a team-high 26 hits and is tied for the team lead in doubles (5) and stolen bases (5). He is third with 13 RBIs.
Matt King, 3B/DH - King has three homers, five doubles and 15 RBIs, all team highs, to go along with a .383 batting average.

Aluminum Assault
Frank Anderson has called his 2006 squad the best offensive team he's had since arriving in Stillwater in 2004, and the Cowboys are proving their head coach prophetic.
OSU leads the Big 12 Conference with a .351 batting average and has three players  Corey Brown, Shelby Ford and Deik Scram  who rank in the top 10 in the league in batting average.
The Cowboys have scored 88 runs in nine games and have collected 125 hits, an average of nearly 14 per game. The Cowboys have scored 10 or more runs five times and have had five games where they racked up at least 16 hits, including two contests in which they topped the 20-hit mark.
Eight different Cowboys are hitting over .300, with four of those topping the .400 mark.
