2004: Made 19 relief appearances with one start in centerfield ... went 1-0 with a 1.96 ERA and two saves ... allowed only five earned runs on 17 hits in 23.0 innings of work ... opponents hit just .205 against him ... pitched two scoreless innnings in two games at the NCAA regionals with five strikeouts and no walks ... pitched an inning and a third of relief against Missouri in the championship game allowing one run on one hit ... allowed two runs on one hit in 2.1 innings of relief against Missouri (5/22) ... threw 3.2 innings of hitless, scoreless relief in two games against Western Illinois ... pitched one inning of scoreless relief with two strikeouts against OU (5/1) in the series finale ... recorded an out against Texas-Arlington (4/13) ... gave up his first runs of the season against Texas A&M (4/4) giving up two runs on four hits in 3.2 innings of work ... received his first win of the season by throwing the final 3.2 innings and recording a career high six strikeouts against Southeast Missouri State (3/30) ... recorded three strikeouts against Dallas Baptist (2/21) in just an inning and a third ... made a start in centerfield against McNeese State and went 0-for-2 with a sacrifice.
2003: Made eight relief appearances as a true freshman ... recorded a 5.40 ERA in 6.2 innings of work ... did not allow a run in five of his appearances ... longest outing was a two-inning stint against Northwestern Oklahoma State (4/23) ... also recorded a season best two strikeouts in that game.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year letterwinner as a outfielder/pitcher at Yukon High ... batted .345 with 13 stolen bases in 2001 and hit .395 with six homers and 22 RBIs as a senior ... named a first team all-state choice in 2002 ... also named all-city and was an academic state champ ... was 4-1 with a 2.65 ERA as a pitcher ...also considered Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas State, Kansas, North Carolina State and Baylor.
