Cowboy Golf Rolls To Title At Hall Of Fame Invitational

The Cowboys finished with a 16-over 880 total for the event to finish 10 shots clear of the field and earn their second consecutive win at the tournament. Texas A&M finished second with a 54-hole total of 890.
OSU was fueled by three individual top-10 performances, including a runner-up finish from redshirt freshman Jonathan Moore. The Vancouver, Wash., native turned in an even-par 216 total after carding a 72 on Sunday. Moore's second-place showing resulted in his first career top 10 finish.
Oklahoma's Anthony Kim walked away with medalist honors after a final round 72 got him to his 208 total.
Sophomore Pablo Martin continued his string of top-five finishes for the Cowboys, coming in at 218 to finish alone in fourth place after a closing round of 73. The Malaga, Spain native has now finished in the top four in each of the squad's six starts this season.
True freshman Trent Leon finished tied for eighth place at 6-over 222 after posting a 75 to register his first career top 10 as well.
Senior Chris Clarke, who competed as an individual, also finished tied for eighth after notching his best round of the tournament. The Rotherham, England native carded a 72 to earn his first top 10 since finishing eighth at the 2003 Puerto Rico Classic.
Junior Tyler Leon concluded play in the top 20, tying for 17th at 225 after posting three consecutive rounds of 75, while senior Zack Robinson turned in his best round of the event with a 74 to finish tied for 67th place at 236.
OSU will return to action on April 3 when it travels to Austin, Texas to take part in the Morris Williams Intercollegiate.
