“We had a good practice. A lot of times you're concerned about the first bowl practice. Obviously the players are excited to be here and having had three or four days off, but we moved around very well and did a good job. We're looking forward to the week here.”

On keeping the team focused

You have to leave that behind and come over and practice. But we did a good job of focusing on the practice. That's due to our senior leadership. We have great senior leadership and that's knowing what's important, which is having a good time and then practicing and preparing well.”

“Our coaches and training staff try to get the most out of us everyday. Today was our first day back after we had about three days off. Some of the guys are a little tight, but that is how it is. It will not take us long to get back on track.”

“Those guys are well organized and they know what to do. They play in arguably the toughest conference in the nation. We are taking it as a challenge. It is going to be a good game on Thursday.”
