Five Cowboys Earn All-Big 12 Accolades From Associated Press

Wide receiver Adarius Bowman and offensive lineman Corey Hilliard highlight a group of five Oklahoma State Cowboys named All-Big 12 Conference performers by the Associated Press.
The AP All-Big 12 team, which was announced Thursday, was voted on by a panel of 20 sports writers who regularly cover the league for newspapers throughout the conference's seven states.
Bowman and Hilliard were both first-team selections, while a trio of Cowboys — senior defensive end Victor DeGrate, sophomore punter Matt Fodge and freshman kick and punt returner/cornerback Perrish Cox — were named to the second team.
Bowman, a junior from Chattanooga, Tenn., leads OSU with 57 receptions for 1,131 yards and 11 touchdowns, while Hilliard is a team captain from New Orleans who anchors an offensive line that has allowed just 17 sacks and paves the way for a Cowboy rushing attack that ranks eighth nationally.
Despite missing two games with an injury, DeGrate leads OSU in sacks with 8.5 and has racked up 40 tackles, including 10.5 for loss. In his second season, Fodge ranks third nationally in punting with an average of 46 yards per punt, the highest single-season total in OSU history. Cox, who made the second team as an all-purpose player, is one of the nation's top punt and kickoff returners, and his two interceptions is tied for the team lead.
OSU also had six players earn honorable mention all-conference honors. Those players were junior offensive lineman David Koenig, senior wide receiver D'Juan Woods, junior running back Dantrell Savage, senior all-purpose Grant Jones, junior defensive end Nathan Peterson and redshirt freshman safety Andre Sexton.
