Cowgirls Selected to NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship

The Cowgirls will travel to Clemson, S.C., where they could possibly meet host Clemson in the second round. Clemson will meet Vanderbilt in the other first round matchup.
Santa Clara is the top seed in the bracket followed by Florida State, Illinois and OSU. The Cowgirls would meet Santa Clara in a possible Sweet 16 game.
The Big 12 had four teams selected, with all four teams earning one of the 16 seeds. Texas was a No. 1 seed and will be playing in Connecticut, while Texas A&M and Colorado are both hosting the first two rounds as a No. 2 and No. 4 seed, respectively.
North Carolina and Notre Dame were both selected as the other top seeds. Both schools have been ranked in the top two all season long.
OSU went 16-3-2 during the season and earned the highest national ranking in program history at No. 7. The Cowgirls finished second in the Big 12 and lost in the semifinals to Texas at the Big 12 Championship.
