OSU Taking Requests For Bowl Tickets
November 14, 2006 | Cowboy Football
The Cowboys (6-4) became bowl eligible after defeating Baylor, 66-24, Saturday, and with two regular-season games remaining, OSU is making a case for an attractive post-season bid.
The OSU Athletic Department is currently developing plans for tickets, travel and accommodations based on various bowl scenarios. Possible sites include the Cotton Bowl (Dallas), Alamo Bowl (San Antonio), Insight Bowl (Tempe), Sun Bowl (El Paso), Holiday Bowl (San Diego), Independence Bowl (Shreveport) and Texas Bowl (Houston).
“While we are not sure what our destination will be, requests for bowl tickets are increasing daily,” said Kyle Wray, Director of University Marketing. “Our advice is to call or go online now and reserve your tickets today.”
Interested fans can contact the OSU Athletics Ticket Office toll-free (877-ALL-4-OSU) or visit www.okstate.com and click on the front-page bowl link.
“OSU fans are serious about supporting their team in bowl games,” Wray added. “As we have seen in recent years, our ÂSea of Orange' can take over a stadium in a hurry. Regardless of the city we visit, it is always exciting to see OSU fans line the streets, visit the restaurants and have a great time at the bowl venue.”
