Billy Bajema, TE - San Francisco
Bajema, who is in his second NFL season, started for the third time this season in the 49ers' loss to Chicago. He did not record any stats in the contest. He has recorded one tackle on special teams in 2006. As a rookie in 2005, he started seven games at tight end and had five catches for 54 yards.
Tatum Bell, RB - Denver
Bell, the Broncos' starting tailback, rushed for 27 yards on 13 carries in Denver's 34-31 loss to Indianapolis. Bell, who has three 100-yard rushing games this season, ranks seventh in the NFL in rushing with 612 yards in 2006. He has rushed for two touchdowns and also ranks third on the Broncos' with 13 catches for 55 yards.
Keith Burns, LB - Denver
A 13-year NFL veteran and special teams standout, Burns had a tackle on special teams in the loss to the Colts. Burns has four tackles on special teams this season and has racked up 226 special teams stops in his career. He has led the Broncos in special teams tackles in seven of his 10 seasons in Denver. He has also forced six fumbles and recovered five fumbles on special teams during his career.
Charlie Johnson, OT - Indianapolis
Johnson, a rookie who was drafted by the Colts in the sixth round, came off the bench and played at tackle as Indy improved to 7-0 with a 34-31 win over Denver. He has played in a reserve role in every Colts' game this season.
Vernand Morency, RB - Green Bay
Morency, a second-year pro, came off the bench and recorded the first 100-yard rushing game of his career as he racked up 101 yards on just 11 carries in the Packers' 31-14 win over Arizona. He also returned two kickoffs for 44 yards. For the season, Morency has rushed for 230 yards on 53 carries and has eight catches for 28 yards. He is Green Bay's second-leading punt returner with 142 yards on six returns.
R.W. McQuarters, CB - New York Giants
McQuarters, who is in his ninth NFL season, started at corner and recorded one tackle in the Giants' 17-3 win over Tampa Bay. For the season, he has 13 tackles and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown. He also has a kickoff return for 17 yards and two punt returns for five yards.
Antonio Smith, DE - Arizona
A defensive end for the Cardinals, Smith played in a reserve role but did not record any stats in a loss to Green Bay. Smith has started two games in 2006 and has eight tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
Juqua Thomas, DE - Philadelphia
A sixth-year pro, Thomas recorded four tackles on defense and a tackle on special teams in Philly's 13-6 loss to Jacksonville. Thomas has recorded 10 tackles and three sacks (one shy of his career high) in 2006.
Darrent Williams, CB - Denver
A starter at cornerback for the Broncos, Williams had seven tackles against Indianapolis. He ranks third on the Broncos with 41 tackles and also has an interception and seven passes defensed. He is Denver's leading punt returner with 110 yards on 15 returns.
Jamal Williams, DT - San Diego
Williams, a nine-year NFL veteran, is a starter at defensive tackle for the Chargers and had five tackles in San Diego's 38-24 win against St. Louis. Williams has recorded 27 tackles and two sacks on the season.
Kevin Williams, DT - Minnesota
A Pro Bowl selection in 2004 and a starter for the Vikings, Williams had two tackles in Minnesota's 31-7 loss to New England on Monday night. Williams has 22 tackles on the season and leads the Vikings with four sacks. He also has a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
