Cowboy Fans Asked To Rally At Road Games
October 05, 2006 | Cowboy Football
This Saturday the Pokes travel to Manhattan, Kan., to take on the K-State Wildcats. The team bus will arrive at Bill Snyder Family Stadium at 12:15 p.m., approximately two hours before kickoff. OSU fans are asked to gather on the east side of the Vanier Football Complex behind the north endzone.
“We want to give our players a show of support on the road and help get the team pumped up -- just like ÂThe Walk' to Boone Pickens Stadium,” said Kyle Wray, OSU Director of Marketing. “We think this can really grow into a rally point for away games.”
The OSU pep band, Pistol Pete and the OSU Spirit Squad will join Cowboy fans to help get the team ready to play.
Future spirit rally locations will be announced the week of each game. For more information, contact the OSU Athletics Marketing Department at 405-744-3067.
