2006: Kyle began the year wrestling at 133, but he was the starter at 141 by season's end ... posted a 7-11 record on the season ... went 3-2 wrestling at 133 in the Kaufman/Brand Open ... bumped up to 141 and went 2-2 at the Oklahoma Open ... defeated Fresno State's Garrett Spooner in a dual meet ... had a tough stretch where he lost to four ranked opponents in a row ... recorded a major decision over Missouri's Chris McCormick in the opening round of the Big 12 Championships ... lost to top-ranked Nate Gallick of Iowa State ... lost a tight decision to Nebraska's Dominick Moyer and finished fourth at the Big 12 Championships.

2005: Kyle posted a 14-8 record on the season wrestling in tournaments ... went 3-2 at the Kaufman-Brand Open ... wrestled in the Reno Tournament of Champions where he went 5-2 ... recorded one fall and two tech. falls on the season.

2004: Posted an 11-6 record wrestling in tournaments for the Cowboys ... of his 11 wins two were by fall and one was by a technical fall ... served as a training partner for Eric Guerrero during the Olympic Games in Athens.

2003: In his first year as a Cowboy, Kyle posted a 14-8 record while wrestling in open tournaments ... he finished second at the Roger Denker Open and third at the FHSU-Bob Smith Open.

High School: Kyle was a three-time Missouri state champion, while also capturing the 2001 Wrestler of the Year ... he was a two-time District Wrestler of the Year, a three-time Greco All-American, and a Cadet Freestyle All-American.

Personal: Born on Nov. 29, 1983 ... son of Ed and Tina Kyle ... has a brother, Alex, and a sister, Amanda ... is majoring in physical education ... enjoys fishing, golfing and camping in his spare time.
