2005: Dabbs went 15-5 on the season ... challenged Kevin Ward for the starting position at 157 after he beat Ward to advance to the consolation finals of the Kaufman-Brand Open ... wrestled in two duals beating Cal Poly's T.J. Ferguson 9-6, but losing to Fresno State's Jim Medeiros ... suffered a season ending injury at an open tournament in January.
2004: Posted a 16-7 record wrestling in primarily open tournaments ... recorded four falls on the season with the quickest coming in 59 seconds against Dan Anaya of Air Force ... lost to 13th-ranked Joe Johnston of Iowa.
2003: Dabbs posted an 18-6 record in his first year as a Cowboy ... wrestled in open tournaments where he recorded three top-five finishes ... his highest finish was at the Oklahoma Open where he placed second.
High School: Dabbs was a four-time state placer, finishing second twice ... he placed fifth at nationals and received All-America honors ... Dabbs was awarded the 2002 H.S. State Outstanding Wrestler ... during his four years, he garnered a 144-4 record ... while playing football, was first team All-District and lettered all four years ... was All-State Honorable Mention in baseball ... at the All-State games, was awarded the Jim Thorpe award after pinning his opponent.
Personal: Born on Dec. 6, 1982 ... son of Richard Deborah Dabbs ... has a sister, Amy, who graduated from Oklahoma State in May of 2003 ... enjoys hunting, fishing and restoring his pick-up in his spare time ... majoring in fire protection and safety technology.
