2006: Kehrer lost out on the starter spot to veteran Rusty Blackmon ... went 10-3 wrestling in open tournaments.
2005: Kehrer earned the starting position by defeating Rusty Blackmon in the Orange-Black Dual ... won his first five matches of the season, with two wins coming by fall and a third by tech. fall ... finished fourth at the Kaufman-Brand Open ... lost to teammate Jack Jensen in the consolation finals of the Kaufman-Brand Open ... suffered close losses to ninth-ranked Roger Kish of Minnesota and Oklahoma's No. 18 Justin Dyer ... finished third at the Reno Tournament of Champions ... recorded a win over The Citadel's Kieth Clifton ... won a decision against Oregon State's Dan Pitsch and a major decision against Oregon's Tony Rolen on Feb. 5 ... defeated Lehigh's Jon Bruno in his final match of the season ... 12 of his 16 losses came against ranked opponents ... recorded 12 takedowns and led the team with 37 escapes.
2004: Kehrer compiled a 16-5 record while wrestling in open tournaments ... recorded five falls and one tech fall on the season ... quickest fall came against Aaron Mays of Missouri Valley College ... also recorded four major decisions ... won third-place in the freshman/sophomore division of the Missouri Open.
High School: Kehrer comes to Oklahoma State after a stellar high school career at Rockwall High School ... went 93-0 over his last two years, 73 of those wins came by fall with an additional 14 coming by technical fall ... Kehrer was a four-time Texas All-State Wrestling Award winner ... Kehrer also was named an NHSCA All-American ... during his career, Kehrer put together a string of 38 consecutive pins.
Personal: Kehrer is the son of Gary and Linda Kehrer ... is a business major at OSU ... he enjoys performance cars, motorcycles, wake boarding and snow skiing ... he was born Sept. 23, 1983 ... he has one brother, Christopher and one sister, Anne.
