Cowgirl Runners Finish Fourth at Big 12's

OSU finished with 120 points, which was one point ahead of fifth-place finisher, Baylor.
Davies, who captured her third consecutive All-Big 12 honor, finished 14th in a time of 21:42. The top 15 runners are awarded with the conference honor.
The Cowgirls were also led by its second finisher, freshman Hanna Holst (18th-place). Holst, a native of
“Hanna (Holst) ran a strong and competitive race,” Cowgirl head coach Rene Sepulveda said. “The team was really pleased with her effort and we hope she continues her momentum into the regional championships.”
Sepulveda said he was also pleased with another freshman, Tone Hjalmarsen, who stepped into the third scoring position with a top-25 finish. The Bodoe,
Rounding out the top five for OSU were juniors Eva Tomankova (32nd-place) and Kim Blomkvist (34th-place). Tomankova, a native of
Senior Eva Slavikova and freshman Leah Schroeder gave the Cowgirls added support as they finished 38th and 39th, respectively.
Sophomore Nina Andersson performed well with a 47th-place finish followed by sophomore Maria Trejo's 49th-place outing.
