Cowgirls Keep Rolling with 3-1 Win over Baylor

OSU took control early in the first half when Siera Strawser stuck back a Radtke shot for her fourth goal of the season in the 12th minute. It ended a nine game scoring drought for Strawser.
The Cowgirls added to the lead when Kasey Langdon scored off of a deep ball from Niccole Grimaldi. It is just the second goal for Langdon, a native of
Baylor got back into the game when Katie White deflected a shot into the OSU goal to cut the lead in half in the 33rd minute.
Adriane Radtke padded the Cowgirl lead with a much needed insurance goal. Radtke received a cross from Yolanda Odenyo and put it away to put the game out of reach for Baylor.
“It was a true team effort tonight,” co-head coach Karen Hancock said. “Erin Stigler played well in goal and Radtke and (Jesyca) Rosholt both played up to form. The only negative is we allowed a goal. I thought we could have defended better, but we scored in the second half to put out of reach.”

The Cowgirls took 16 shots for the game and 11 of them were on goal. Radtke had a goal and an assist, while Grimaldi contributed two assists and now leads the team with seven assists on the season.
