Cowgirl Soccer Nearing Top 10

Oklahoma State soccer achieved its highest national ranking in school history this week when it was No. 12 by both Soccer America and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

OSU is also ranked 14th by Soccer Buzz and 15th by Soccer Times. Soccer Buzz has OSU ranked third in the Central Region, while it is second by NSCAA.

The Cowgirls are 11-2-1 on the season and currently sit in a tie atop the Big 12 standings with 18 points at 6-1. OSU has never finished higher than seventh in the conference.

Oklahoma State is coming off of a pair of home wins last weekend. The Cowgirls rallied from two goals down in the second half to beat Iowa State, 3-2 in overtime, and they defeated Missouri, 2-0.

The Cowgirls will travel this week to take on Baylor and Texas Tech before returning home for senior night against Nebraska on Oct. 20.
