2004: Played his sophomore season at Iowa Western Junior College ... pitched for the Waterloo Bucks in the Northwoods League where he was 4-2 with a 1.58 ERA and a record 15 saves ... also considered Arkansas, Clemson, Nebraska and Tennessee.

2003: Spent one season at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid ... was 9-1 and named all-region and all-district honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an all-conference and all-metro selection at Broken Arrow High ... earned two letters as a pitcher ... went 6-2 with a 1.81 ERA his senior season ... struck out 65 batters in 65 innings and was named to two all-star teams.

PERSONAL: A sociology major ... son of Gary and Sharlet Epperson ... born August 19, 1984 ... has a brother, Todd ... favorite athlete is Brad Lidge ... favorite musician is Hilary Duff ... chose Oklahoma State so he could play Big 12 baseball at a high level.
