2004: Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen ... primarily used as a setup man in short relief ... gave up two runs on one hit in 0.2 innings against Missouri (5/23) ... pitched career long six innings of scoreless relief against Western Illinois on May 19 ... yielded two runs, one earned on seven hits with a strikeout and walk against the Leathernecks ... allowed one run in an inning of action against Texas Tech (5/15) with three strikeouts and three walks ... gave up a run in an inning of relief against Baylor (4/9) ... pitched two shutout innings against Southeast Missouri State (3/30) ... first stint came against TCU (2/24) when he worked 1.2 innings ... threw one inning of work on five separate occasions.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a pitcher/infielder at Midwest City High ... was a first team all-state pick in 2003 and an honorable mention selection in 2002 ... earned Daily Oklahoman Big All-City honors as a senior and was named the Player of the Year as well ... went 8-4 on the mound with a 1.84 ERA and 131 strikeouts in 80.1 innings pitched ... batted .402 with eight homers ... was an honorable mention Big All-City selection as a junior, going 7-1 on the mound with a 1.43 ERA ... also struck out 71 batters in 53.2 innings pitched ... was a 38th round selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2003 draft.
