Oklahoma State Baseball Picked To Finish Sixth In Big 12

Defending NCAA champion Texas was picked to capture the league crown and received eight of the 10 first-place votes. Nebraska, the defending Big 12 champion, received a first-place vote and finished second in the poll, while Missouri also garnered a first-place vote and finished third in the balloting.
Each coach ranked the conference's teams 1-9 and was not allowed to vote for their own team.
Oklahoma State finished sixth in the Big 12 standings in 2005 with a 12-15 mark (34-25 overall). The Cowboys, under third-year head coach Frank Anderson, will open their season February 10 against South Alabama in Mobile, Ala.
