HIGH SCHOOL Tam competed all four years on the varsity cross country and track teams ... was captain of the cross country and track team as a senior ... placed second in the 4x400-meter relay at the state championships in 2004 ... her senior year, she competed at the state championships in the 4x800 and 4x400-meter relays, as her team finished third and fifth, respectively in those events.
