Cowboys Test Conditioning on Humid Fourth Day

The Cowboys continued preseason workouts with a three hour practice in humid conditions wearing shorts and shoulder pads.

It was the most humid day of the preseason thus far and head coach Mike Gundy was pleased not to have any players succumb to the conditions.

“It was a good practice today,” Gundy said. “I thought today would be a good test for our conditioning. It was not real hot, but for a majority of the practice it was pretty humid. Our trainer said we did not have anybody cramp up, that is good.”

Tomorrow will be the first day the Cowboys will workout in full pads. The practice is scheduled to start at 4:45 on the grass practice fields and will conclude at 7:30 p.m.

All workouts are open to the public through August 17.
