2005 Cowboy Football Practice Report #2
Friday, August 5
Thru two practices, the Cowboy coaching staff has been encouraged by what they have seen early on from their players. The players have undergone up-tempo workouts, which have helped with their conditioning and the pace of practice.
“I thought the tempo of practice was outstanding,” associate head coach Joe DeForest said. “The one thing Coach Gundy wanted was to run from drill to drill, and to be sharp when you come back after a break. Our practices may not be as long, but they are going to be sharp and crisp.
The Cowboys will begin their weekend with media day in the morning followed by fan appreciation day at 1 p.m.
OSU will resume practice at 4:30 p.m. on the practice field in shorts and shoulder pads.
