Ten Questions with Newcomer Larry Brown

A: This is the big time. Everything here is big time.
Q: What has been the hardest thing about adjusting to the Division I level?
A: It has probably been lifting weights. I am trying to get stronger.
Q: Has there been anything that has surprised you so far, good or bad?
A: Everything has surprised me. Everything here is better than I thought it would be.
Q: How do you feel about the defensive line's performance so far?
A: It has been going great. I think we are going to be pretty good this year.
Q: What is the relationship between the offensive and defensive lines in practice like?
A: There is a lot of competition but at the same time we are all out there to get better. We have to get better so they can get better. We have to help each other out.
Q: Has there been anyone on the offensive line who has been more challenging to go against?
A: I really do not worry about that. I just try to worry about me.
Q: Are you getting tired of hitting your teammates every day?
A: Yeah, definitely, I am ready to start hitting Montana State.
Q: What have been your impressions of coach Barnes?
A: He is a real good coach. He is teaching me everything I need to learn.
Q: What about coach Gundy?
A: He is also a real good coach. He is a good motivator and has a lot of knowledge.
Q: If you could play any other position for a day what would it be?
A: Quarterback!
