August 24, 2005 | Cowboy Football
A: All of my coaches got fired at Northwest (Mississippi) so I got to leave a year early.
Q: Why did you choose Oklahoma State?
A: The campus helped a lot. Also, with all the new stuff they are doing they seemed like a program on the rise. It is just a good place to be.
Q: What has been the toughest thing personally about adjusting from junior college to Division I?
A: The practices are a lot longer.
Q: How do you feel about the offensive line so far?
A: I think we are going to be good, real good.
Q: Since you go up against them every day how do you feel the defensive line has performed?
A: They are doing really good too.
Q: What are the responsibilities of the center?
A: We assign the blocking assignments and the snap count out of the shotgun.
Q: What are your strengths that help you on the field?
A: My strength and speed helps me out a lot.
Q: Is there anybody you look up too or model your game after?
A: I like Kyle Turley a lot.
Q: What are your thoughts about Coach Wickline?
A: He is a great coach. He is the best offensive line coach I have ever had by far.
Q: What about Coach Gundy?
A: He is the nicest head coach I have ever been around. I thought the coaches would get meaner when I got to Division I but he is really cool.
