Last Chance to Vote for Steve Mocco in Espys

Oklahoma State heavyweight Steve Mocco has been nominated for an ESPY Award in the category of “Best Male College Athlete.”

The fans elect the winners in each category by voting online at www.espn.com and tomorrow is the last day to vote as the polls will close at 5 p.m. CDT.

Mocco is competing against Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart, the No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Andrew Bogut, Golden Spikes Award winner Alex Gordon and Colorado College's Marty Sertich who he led to the Frozen Four.

Mocco posted a perfect 37-0 record on the season en route to his second NCAA Championship. He dominated on the mat pinning 17 of his opponents, which earned him the Hodge Trophy which is considered the “Heisman Trophy of Wrestling.”

The ESPY Awards will air on ESPN on July 17 at 8 p.m.
