Wright is a talented player who will bring substantial experience into his senior season at Oklahoma State. He has played in 33 games over the past three seasons and improved with each season. 2004: Wright played in 10 of OSU's 12 games and finished with 12 tackles. He had three tackles against Texas Tech and two against Baylor. He recorded tackles against Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Iowa State, SMU and UCLA. 2003: Thomas saw extensive varsity action in 2003, making a significant contribution in the Oklahoma State secondary. He played in 11 of Oklahoma State's 13 games and finished with 26 total tackles. He also had his first-career interception and an addition pass break up. 2002: Wright saw action in 12 games, mainly on special teams, and finished with 14 tackles, including one for loss. He returned a block punt against Kansas for 15 yards and a touchdown. His top tackle performance was against Kansas when he made six stops. He also recorded five tackles against Baylor. High School: Wright earned Class 3A Texas All-State honors from the Associated Press as well as all-district honors in District 24-3A. His senior season, he finished with 117 tackles and three interceptions. He was recruited by Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Arizona and Texas Tech. Personal: Born on Dec. 27, 1983, Wright is the son of Richard and Sheila Wright. He has two brothers and one sister. Thomas is majoring in education at Oklahoma State.
