Beeghley has been a valuable member of the OSU program the past three seasons. He'll go into the 2005 season as a backup at quarterback. 2004: Beeghley did not see any game action his sophomore year. 2003: Beeghley saw limited action in 2003 as the primary backup to Josh Fields. He played in six games and completed 6-of-11 passes for 66 yards with an interception. He scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard quarterback sneak against Louisiana-Lafayette. 2002: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State. Beeghley was invaluable, however, on the practice field and gained experience that will pay off. High School: Had a phenomenal career at Midland Christian Academy with 7,941 yards of total offense and 89 total touchdowns. His career passing totals included 393 completions on 727 attempts for 6,361 yards and 69 touchdowns. He added 1,580 rushing yards on 303 attempts and had 20 touchdowns. He led Midland Christian to back-to-back state championships in 2000 and 2001, and was first-team All-State in 2001. He was all-district in football and baseball as a freshman, and added basketball to that list as a sophomore. He was also awarded the Paul C. Rhea Award which goes to the Athlete of the Year according to the Midland Convention and Visitors Bureau. Personal: Born Dec. 15, 1982, in San Jose, Calif., Jamie is the son of Jamie, Sr., and Daryl Ann Beeghley. He has one brother, Jesse, and a sister, Abby. His grandmother was a swimming national champion in England. Jamie is majoring in journalism at Oklahoma State.
