A backup receiver the past two seasons, McCown will return in 2005 to once again compete for playing time. He's a talented and versatile player who moved from running back to wide receiver when he arrived at OSU. 2004: Errick did not step on the field in game action. 2003: Errick saw limited action and did not record any official statistics. 2002: McCown saw action in four games, finishing the season with three catches for 19 yards. He had his longest reception of the season coming at Kansas with a nine yard catch. He made one reception against SMU for six yards, and had one catch in the home opener against Northern Iowa for four yards. He also had a rush for 11 yards. 2001: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State. High School: McCown was a four year letterman at Grace Prep in Arlington, Texas. He was the Most Valuable Player in the TAPPS league his senior season for coach Buddy Timme. As a high school senior, McCown rushed for 2,214 yards and scored 28 touchdowns. He earned multiple postseason honors. He also lettered in track, participating in the 4x100-meter relay, the triple jump and the long jump. Personal: Born Feb. 28, 1983, Errick is the son of Stevie and Linda McCown. He has two brothers and one sister. Errick is majoring in economics at Oklahoma State.
