One of the veteran returners on Oklahoma State's offensive line, Curtis is a very good player who started the final eight games of last season and should go into 2005 with the same status. He is strong with good feet and and an excellent blocker. 2004: Curtis started the last seven games of the regular season and the bowl game at left guard, and is one of the more versatile linemen on the team. 2003: Corey was one of the top backups on the offensive line and saw significant action as a reserve. He logged playing time in six games. 2002: Curtis started in five games, including four consecutive, before suffering a shoulder injury against Nebraska. He rebounded from the injury to start his third game of the year against SMU. Corey suffered a stinger against UCLA in the second quarter that caused him to miss the remainder of the game against the Bruins. He did see action as a reserve against Northern Iowa. Curtis made his first collegiate start against Louisiana Tech in the season opener. 2001: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State. High School: Curtis earned second-team All-Metro honors on the defensive line from the Tulsa World. A two-year starter for the Owasso Rams, Curtis tallied 11 career sacks and 53 tackles. He was named to the Oklahoma Coaches' Association's All-State squad and was an all-district selection. Curtis was tabbed as a member of Oklahoma's Oil Bowl team. Rice and Tulsa were also among the schools seeking his services. Personal: Born Aug. 8, 1982, Corey is the son of Linda and Dennis Curtis of Bristow. He has four brothers: Cole, Justin, Shane and Jeremy. Corey is majoring in education at Oklahoma State.
