Three Cowgirls Set Qualifying Marks at Cardinal Invitational

Oklahoma State's 20th-ranked women's track and field team had three Cowgirls set NCAA regional qualifying marks at the Cardinal Invitational on Sunday in Stanford, Calif.
Junior Alison Erzinger finished second in the 400-meter hurdles, setting an NCAA regional qualifying time of 59.73.
“It was good to see Alison break 60 seconds before the Big 12 Conference Meet” head coach Rene Sepulveda said.
In the 1,500-meter run, senior Michelle Prowse had a personal best and second-place finish with a time of 4:25.63, while senior Valentina Medina finished the event in 4:28.74.
The Cowgirls then traveled the throwers to the Bob Laptab Invitational in Joplin, Mo., where senior Delisa McClain dominated the hammer throw competition, placing first with a throw of 202'11”. Freshman Deleanor Kirkpatrick had an impressive third-place finish, throwing for 173'03”.
