Brown was also a first team outfielder and was joined on the squad by first baseman who made it as a utility player. Junior was named to the second team, while four Cowboys received honorable mention plaudits.
Brown leads all outfielders in the conference with a .368 batting average and 13 homers to go along with 46 RBIs. The
Carr is hitting .333 and leads the league with 22 homers and 86 RBIs. He led the country for most of the season in the latter two catergories and has hit five homers with 13 RBIs in his last five games.
Gutierrez had his best offensive year as a Cowboy batting .344 with 14 doubles, five triples, five homers and 33 RBIs. He hit .374 in league play that was second on the team that sixth in the league.
