Oklahoma State Head Coach RenÃ© Sepulveda will be getting help from Mindaugas Pukstas, as a volunteer running coach. Sepulveda coached Pukstas at Southern Methodist before taking the OSU women's head coaching job. Pukstas marked the second Olympian that Sepulveda has coached, as he qualified for Lithuania in the Marathon.

Pukstas was a two-time All-American at SMU before transferring to OSU, where he was an All-American in cross country. Aside from training for the Olympics, Pukstas also serves as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's track team in 2003. He is married to current assistant coach Zivile Pukstiene, and the couple had their first child, Rokas, in Sep. 2004.
