Jumpers Shine at Mean Green Twilight Invitational

Senior Paula Ogunbanjo won the triple jump, while multi-event athlete, freshman Tihana Sarac, placed second in the event with a jump of 38'3.25”.
In the long jump, Ogunbanjo finished first with a jump of 19'04”. Junior Melissa N'Dubilo finished third and senior Cody Birk placed fifth in the event.
The Cowgirls then had impressive performances in the shot put with senior Halee Prickett placing first, throwing for a season best mark of 50'11”. Freshmen LaKendra Greathouse and Donielle Amrein showed their talent in the event, as they finished third and sixth, respectively.
Freshman Laura Schmidt competed in the javelin, setting a personal record mark of 111'11”.
The 4x100-meter relay team that is consisted of four jumpers, sophomore Lauren McKee, Birk, N'Dubilo and Sarac had a season best time of 47.83.
Junior Alison Erzinger then ran the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:01.52.
