The Huskers took the series and improved to 24-3 overall and 4-1 in Big 12 play, while the Cowboys fell to 21-10 and 4-4 in conference action.
Kroenke moved to 4-0 on the year, allowing just three hits with seven strikeouts and two walks as OSU was shutout for the first time this year.
Brandon Fusilier's sacrifice fly RBI in the first staked the Huskers to a 1-0 lead. Alex Gordon's two-run homer in the third extended the NU lead to 3-0.
Curtis Ledbetter's RBI double in the fifth pushed the lead to 4-0 and the Huskers added another run when reliever threw a wild pitch with the bases loaded. A passed ball in the sixth allowed another run to score to make it 6-0.
(1-2) took the loss after giving up five runs on four hits in 4.1 innings with five walks and a strikeout.
Gordon led the Huskers offensively with a 2-for-3 day with two RBI and three runs scored. , and recorded the three Cowboy hits on the afternoon.
