Cowboys Fall To Shockers 2-1

Shortstop Nick McCoola led off the ninth with a walk and advanced to second on Derek Schermerhorn's base hit to left. He then moved to third on Danny Jackson's fly ball to right before Daniels uncorked a wild pitch that bounced past catcher .
The Shockers scored their first run in the second inning on a passed ball that allowed Brandon Hall to score from third base.
The Cowboys took advantage of a fielding error by rightfielder Quin Vinse in the sixth that allowed to reach second base and tied the game on Ty Wright's RBI single to centerfield.
(6-3) took the loss in his first complete game of the year. He allowed two runs, one earned, on seven hits with four strikeouts and three walks.
Reliever Jared Simon (2-0) picked up the win with two innings of one-hit scoreless relief. Second baseman Damon Sublett came in to close out the game in the ninth and had a
