Q: If I give $1,000 to the football stadium campaign, how does this affect my POSSE points?
A: A $1,000 gift to help renovate OSU's stadium would add 30 points to your current point total for the POSSE year (3 points for every $100).
Q: Does this gift count towards my parking?
A: No, your giving to the next level campaign does not count towards your parking level.
Q: What is my tax deduction for this $1,000 gift?
A: All gifts to athletic facilities are 100 percent tax deductible.
Q: I am interested in donor seating in football. Is my donation tax deductible?
A: A gift to donor seating falls under the 80-20 rule. IRS rules state that 80 percent is considered a gift but 20 percent is taxable because you are receiving a special seat. Donor seating includes chair backs, Club Level, Luxury Suites, etc.
Q: How does my gift help the "Next Level" stadium campaign?
A: Gifts go directly to fund Phase I of the campaign equaling $36 million. This includes pre-construction (architectural design, utility expansion, engineering studies) and construction work which will completely renovate the stadium's south side with all new amenities at ground and concourse levels, convenient and ample concession areas, new and expanded restrooms and novelty stands. In this phase, we'll also replace the existing pressbox with a modern facility for broadcast and print media, as well as for coaches.
