The OSU lead wouldn't last long as the Red Raiders mounted a big comeback in the eighth to take the lead at 10-9. A three-run home run by junior left fielder brought Tech within two and a two-out single to left field by first baseman gave Tech the go ahead run. Texas Tech plated all seven of its runs on four hits and five walks by OSU relievers.
