Cowgirl Jumpers and Throwers to Compete at UTA Invitational

Senior Delisa McClain will lead the Cowgirls into the events, after receiving a NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 202'11 (61.84-meters) at the Tulsa Duels, last Saturday. McClain will compete in the hammer throw, along with freshmen Delanor Kirkpatrick and Brandi Broaddus.
The Cowgirls will look to get a strong performance from senior Halee Prickett, as she will be throwing in her first outdoor competition of the season. Prickett and six other Cowgirls will throw in either the javelin, discuss or the shot put. Joining Prickett will be Kirkpatrick, Broaddus, senior April Hart, sophomore Lauren McKee, freshmen LeKendra Greathouse and Lauren Schmidt.
In the triple jump, the Cowgirls will jump senior Paula Ogunbanjo and junior Adrienne Crenshaw. Senior Melissa N'Dubilo and freshman Tihana Sarac will compete in the long jump, while Sarac will also be competing in the high jump.
The Cowgirls will then run N'Dubilo, sophomores Lauren McKee and Jasmin Smith and junior Alison Erzinger in the 4x100 relay.
