Cowboys Continue with Spring Workouts

Oklahoma State's football team took the practice field for the third day this week in shorts and shoulder pads in a 2 1/2 hour workout.

Head coach Mike Gundy and the rest of the coaching staff was able review film and go over mistakes they saw in the previous day's scrimmage.

“What was encouraging was there was not much lack of effort on either side of the ball,” Gundy said about yesterday's scrimmage. “After seeing the enthusiasm we had during the scrimmage, I kind of anticipated that. There was a lot of encouraging things because we had an up tempo practice. Both sides of the ball are working extremely hard.”

The Cowboys will go live again on Saturday morning. The start time of the practice has been moved from 11:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. to try and beat the impending weather. The scrimmage will begin at approximately 9:05 a.m., and is open to the public.
