OSU Seeks Third Straight Wrestling Title

Oklahoma State's wrestling team will seek its third consecutive national title and 33rd overall when it travels to St. Louis for the NCAA Wrestling Championships beginning Thursday at the Savvis Center.
The Cowboys qualified nine wrestlers for the tournament after capturing the Big 12 championship and winning seven individual conference championships. OSU went undefeated during the dual season with a 21-0 record.
OSU has three wrestlers currently ranked at the top of their weight class. Zack Esposito, Chris Pendleton and Steve Mocco are ranked No. 1 at 149, 174 and 285, respectively. All nine wrestlers representing OSU are ranked, with eight of them ranked in the top 10.
Each round of the tournament can be heard live on 93.7 FM or online at okstate.com. The Friday morning session conflicts with OSU basketball and can be heard on 780 AM.
