Cowgirl Throwers Finish 13th at the NCAA Indoor Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Â– Oklahoma State's women's track and field team had two throwers compete at the 2005 NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday, at the Randell Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

Senior Delisa McClain threw for 65-08.25 (20.02-meters) to finish 13^th in the weight throw. McClain finished one place from being named an All-American in the event.

Senior Halee Prickett finished 13^th in the shot put with a throw of 50-00.75 (15.26- meters).

“They both had good performances, as it was the first time for both to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships,” head coach Rene Sepulveda said. “Their performances set them up for the outdoor season.”
