Cowley struck out nine and improved to 4-1 on the year, and has not allowed an earned run in his last 18 innings pitched. Reliever pitched a perfect ninth to close out the game.
OSU improved to 12-6 on the year, while UWM fell to 2-5.

The Pokes added three more runs in the seventh and another in the ninth to close out the scoring.
